Small (in the grand scheme of things) but shitty things have been happening with alarming consistency in the past few days. What’s going on? Is my karma on the downturn? Did I do something bad to have all these things happen right on top of one another? Does it have to do with the lucky bamboo plant my mom gave me, and which I left out overnight a month or two ago just to have it freeze and then die a slow death on my desk until I finally threw it away today? Or is it all just a big shit pile of coincidence?
If so, I would like that big pile of shit to give me back my driver’s license from the hole it apparently fell in, the large amount of money that I spent on my dad’s xmas present (Avs tickets to a game that I just learned he can’t attend due to his piece of shit job), all the time I have spent in the doctor’s office the past couple of days and the time I foresee spending there in the near future, my previously spotless bill of health from wherever it went, and my overall sanity. Thanks.
Sorry for the dramatic post, but I am feeling a bit dramatic at the moment.
In the microscopic interpretation of statistical mechanics, entropy expresses the disorder or randomness of the constituents of a thermodynamic system or, equivalently, the availability of accessible quantum mechanical states. A closed system always tends towards achieving a state with a maximum of entropy.
Can it be a month?
A quarter of the way.
Love this man
Just had a $50 bill confiscated from me at the credit union. I didn’t think it was fake, but they insisted it was and that they had to send it off to the Secret Service. They told me that if they look at it and don’t think it’s fake, then I will get it back but that “they have never sent any of the bills back”. What’s better is that one of the owners of my restaurant gave me that bill to pay for his lunch yesterday, and I called him all angry-fied and he said he got it from his bank. Kick me in the face, plz.
