My mom, somewhat recently, has started texting. Sometimes her texts are hilarious. Here are some gems from a text conversation we are having:
“life’s a bitch sometimes…then it gets better…i think everyone needs to better ones good moments…they make life so good!”
[After saying that she should come to denver to get some dinner and check out the store that I recently started working at]
“yay! omg…that sounds like FUN…let me know about free days and free nights…omg…lets do something…omg…yay! (i just learned omg yesterday)”
My mom might be Oprah, or she could be 14. It’s still up in the air.
Last night, the topic of prison came up between Mark and I. I brought it up, because I always like to ask him stupid hypothetical questions, and him and I got in a disagreement over who of us is most likely to go to prison. He said I probably would, and I said he definitely would. We decided to poll our friends, and I sent out a text to a few people. Of the people who responded, here were the results:
3 people said I would be more likely to end up in prison. Drew thinks I would end up there from mail fraud, while Sara Guiffre thinks that I would be a jewel thief, dressed all in black with a beret (she played out this whole scenario for me at work today)
5 people said Mark would be more likely to end up in prison. Two of them, Chris and Pat, said it would be guilt by association by being with Scott when he got arrested. Ha!
Mark, you lose. But I would still consider conjugal visits.
